Free scan

Your AI agent waste report, in two commands.

On macOS or Linux. You need no Go toolchain, no account and no proxy.

$ curl -fsSL https://github.com/optimi-ai/optimi-releases/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh
$ ~/.local/bin/optimi-report scan

The first command installs optimi-report in ~/.local/bin. The second reads the Claude Code history already on your machine (~/.claude/projects) and writes optimi-scan.html in the current directory. The headline figures are printed in the terminal too.

What it shows

  • What your agents cost, per project and per day.
  • How much of that was wasted, and on what: cache rebuilds, oversized tool results, agents stuck in loops.
  • What Optimi would save, scored only on days it had not seen.
  • What each commit cost.

Nothing leaves your machine

The scan reads local files and runs git to read (rev-parse, config user.email, log) in the repositories your sessions ran in, and sends nothing anywhere. The page has no scripts and loads nothing. It shows repository names, dates and dollars; add -anonymize to replace the repository names with letters before you share it.

What the installer does

install.sh is short; read it before you run it if you like.

  • It downloads the build for your machine (macOS or Linux, arm64 or amd64) from the latest release, with that release’s checksums.txt.
  • It compares the archive’s sha256 with the one listed, and installs nothing if they differ.
  • It does not use sudo, does not edit a shell profile and sends nothing anywhere.

To uninstall, delete ~/.local/bin/optimi-report.
